To support our growth, we are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and experienced Sales Support Administrator based at our Scunthorpe facility to manage our installation and warehouse teams and work alongside our sales team.
Job Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will work closely with senior management and local sales and installation teams to provide administrative and general management support, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks such as administration, order processing, and customer liaison.
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential, along with clear communication, decisiveness, and the ability to manage your own diary and multiple tasks from senior management.
Key Accountabilities:
* Develop strong relationships with all DekBoard customers and ensure their needs are addressed appropriately.
* Manage customer complaints and warranty processes, keeping customers fully informed.
* Update and manage credits and credit logs/spreadsheets.
* Handle all sales and general enquiries, directing them to the appropriate installer or internal sales team.
* Update and control the caravan park database.
* Manage NPA processes and administration.
* Assist the Commercial Manager with price and order form updates and circulation.
* Maintain the filing system.
* Be proficient with internal systems, various applications, and Microsoft Office.
* Handle incoming and outgoing emails and correspondence.
* Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
* Manage travel and accommodation arrangements.
* Oversee timesheets and payroll activities as needed.
* Manage the DekBoard holiday calendar and schedule.
* Handle queries from managers and team members.
* Support senior management with administrative tasks.
* Assist the Planning & Logistics Supervisor to ensure compliance with company policies.
* Facilitate communication with customers and respond to product feedback.
* Manage customer expectations through effective communication.
* Oversee office and workshop supplies.
* Assist with employee training records and PPE documentation.
* Manage workwear ordering and distribution.
* Coordinate production and marketing meetings, including note-taking and follow-up.
* Manage stock of marketing materials such as brochures and POS items.
* Collaborate with senior management on marketing material updates.
* Monitor shared mailboxes and respond as necessary.
Role Requirements:
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team, using initiative, and being trustworthy and reliable in a fast-paced environment.
* Travel and overnight stays may be required.
* Must hold a full UK driving license.
* Willingness to undertake additional tasks as needed.
