I & C Engineer: Providing engineering competency within Score Energy
We have a fantastic opportunity available to support and provide technical support across the business, representing the company from a detailed technical perspective.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, whilst providing feedback and obtaining escalation support and approval through other members of the Engineering team and most specifically the Engineering Manager and/or Lead Engineer then we welcome your application.
Primary responsibilities
1. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
2. Prepare for and participate in meetings as requested, providing detailed support and guidance on technical issues arising / requesting support on
3. Participate in project and technical meetings as required either through own initiation in support of assigned projects or at request of other areas
4. Liaise with others within Score Energy and possibly Score Group, as requested, in support of technical queries and investigations, including leading technical investigations and developments where requested to do so, specifically focussed on I and C activities and engineering tasks
5. Creation of and provision of advice on I and C Technical Bulletins and other I and C technical instructions and reports as required
6. Engineering calculation review and approval as requested
7. Technical report creation and top level approval as required
8. Technical drawing advice and review
9. Lead and manage Engineering Projects as assigned from the business
10. Provide technical support and guidance across the business specifically for I and C topics within own area of experience and expertise
11. Provide Technical support on customer related issues as necessary or requested
Qualifications
12. Engineering Degree with relevant experience in engineering practices
13. Holding or in the process of obtaining Chartered Engineer Status (see below)
Experience
14. The individual shall have a good understanding and competency in Engineering Theory and Practices
15. The individual should be developing towards Chartered Engineer level with a view to developing their practical and theoretical knowledge and experience base to better support the growth, technical competence development and product capability expansion of the assigned business area
