* Process and resolve People Services tasks promptly, accurately, and confidentially.
* Maintain accurate people data within our HR system, IRIS Cascade (PeopleFirst).
* Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
* Run PeopleFirst reports to generate people metrics supporting data analysis.
* Assist the People Operations team with varied HR tasks, including policy updates, document management, and general administration.
* Build strong working relationships with people leaders and collaborate across teams, offices, and departments.
* Organise and maintain colleague personnel files and distribute HR documentation in a timely manner.
* Support monthly and annual HR processes such as payroll, retention audits and annual leave administration.
* Contribute to HR projects by completing assigned tasks efficiently.

* A proactive approach, consistently seeking ways to improve processes and workflows
* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
* Trustworthy, with a commitment to confidentiality
* Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
* Knowledge of people policies and an interest in HR

We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis and may close the advert early if we find the right candidate, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

In return, we can offer you:

Alongside a competitive salary of up to £26,000, you will also receive:

* Up to 10% discretionary annual bonus

* 25 days annual leave plus flexible bank holidays
* Private Medical Cover
* 6× salary death in service
* A personal GP service enabling you to get a video consultation with an NHS‑registered, private GP

Who We Are

Medical Protection Society (MPS) is the world’s leading protection organisation for Doctors, Dentists and healthcare professionals. We protect and support the professional interests of almost 300,000 Members around the world.

We are a not‑for‑profit organisation, meaning our Members’ premiums are kept safe should our Members require support for complaints or claims arising from professional practice, or invested into bettering the organisation, our colleagues and our products.

Our philosophy is to support safe practice in medicine and dentistry by helping to avert problems in the first place. We also actively campaign for regulatory and legal reforms that benefit Members and the wider healthcare professions.

To do this, we need colleagues who are trusted and supported to deliver their best work, whether that be through leadership development, fully‑funded training courses or peer‑to‑peer support. We want our colleagues to feel empowered enough to deliver positive change, display ambition to push themselves and are determined when faced with a challenge, whilst ensuring our Member’s best interests are at the core.
