Job Description
Our Employability division is expanding due to the procurement of a new contract, and we therefore look to welcome a Liverpool Youth Trailblazer Programme Co-Ordinator to our experienced team.
Your main duties will include:
* You will coordinate a programme which has been developed to support NEET young people access meaningful employment and overcome barriers to work
* You will provide tailored one-to-one mentoring and practical employability support to a caseload of young people, from the point of sign-up right through to providing in work support
* You will manage relationships with stakeholders including funders, partners and other organisations delivering youth trailblazer, ensuring comprehensive programme co-ordination
* You will connect participants with local employers for exclusive job opportunities and work experience.
* You will work to empower young people to build sustainable careers and thrive in the local job market.
What does good look like for this role?
* Developing strong relationships with referral partners, training providers, employers and NEET young people aged 18 - 21
* Strong interpersonal skills; approachable, adaptable and supportive to the range of stakeholders involved in this programme.
* Ability to build strong rapport and positively guide young people to look at their approach to challenges and managing them in a new way
* Young people have a positive experience and achieve their goals.

Qualifications
Experience:
* Coaching and delivering services within the Employability sector.
* Supporting young people facing barriers to employment, including care experienced young people
* Delivering employability support, coaching or mentoring, including job search, interview preparation and in work support.
* Experience working in partnership with a range of stakeholders, including commissioners and trailblazer partners
Skills & Abilities:
* Understanding of person-centered, strengths-based approaches to employability support.
* Ability to engage, motivate and build positive relationships with young people.
* Strong communication and coaching skills, working one-to-one and in groups
Desirable: Qualification in IAG (L3), ERS (L3), Coaching, IEP Membership or a relevant professional qualification
Additional Information
Hours: 37 per week
Basis: Full Time, fixed term until March 31/03/2026
Salary: £32,000
Flexibility: Outreach and office based work across Liverpool City Region with some opportunities for remote working
