Overview

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional 7.5T Driver to join our client's team based in Croydon. The rate of pay is £32,754 per annum. This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts and the hours of work are 7am to 4:30pm.
Your Time at Work
As a 7.5T Driver you will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries to their customers, while representing our company to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods across regional routes
* Loading and unloading goods safely
* Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in full
* Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld scanners
* Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Maintaining compliance with health & safety and driving regulations
* Providing excellent customer service on delivery
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have the following:
* Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence
* Driver CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card
* No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions)
* Physically fit - some manual handling will be required
* Good communication and time management skills
* Previous 7.5T driving experience essential
* Knowledge of the local area
