Labour Controller – Lightning Protection Systems
Location: Newcastle-Under-Lyme, ST5 7RH
Contract: 12-Months Fixed Term
Salary: £26,500–£28,000

As a Labour Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating our nationwide operations, ensuring our engineers are where they need to be, when they need to be there, and fully equipped to deliver excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
* Plan and schedule lightning protection testing, maintenance, and remedial works across the UK.
* Coordinate a team of specialist engineers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
* Act as the central link between clients, engineers, and internal teams to keep operations smooth and responsive.
* Monitor job progress, paperwork, invoicing, and reporting to maintain high standards and accountability.
* Support performance tracking, helping the team meet KPIs and deliver outstanding service.
What We're Looking For
You'll thrive in this role if you have experience as a Labour Controller, Scheduler, or Planner in a fast-paced, service-led environment. You're calm under pressure, quick-thinking, and a natural problem solver. Strong communication and organisational skills are key — you'll be guiding engineers and liaising with clients daily.
* Confident using Excel and internal systems to manage schedules and data.
* Able to build relationships and support a team with empathy and efficiency.
* Experience in electrical or safety services is a plus, but not essential — we'll support your growth.
