The Role:
Casino Beverage Server - The Casino Beverage Server must be able to work in a world-class service environment, in a friendly upbeat manner and must possess a keen knowledge of beverages.
Responsibilities:
* Report to work at the assigned time in uniform, with name tag, state badge and P.O.S Computer card.
* Read Bulletin Board on Daily Basis in order to remain current on information regarding the day’s business.
* Does a Daily Opening & Closing Requisition for ordering for beverage supplies.
* Welcomes guests upon arrival in a polite and professional manner.
* Knows how to properly check Guest ID’s for serving of all alcoholic beverages.
* Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and garnish each beverage according to standard recipe.
* Provides fast (10 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round.
* Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests.
* Maintains clean and stocked workstation.
* Handles money according to proper cash handling policy.
* Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
* Promotes all casino events, programs and amenities.
* Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor.
* Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
* Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
* Should have knowledge of liquor law of state and company policies.
Qualifications:
* Able to work in a world-class service environment, in a friendly upbeat manner.
* Must possess knowledge of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
* Must be able to multi-task and work successfully with little to no supervision.
* Must present a professional appearance that guests will find approachable.
* Knowledge of state liquor laws.
* Servers will have clean pressed uniform and appearance including no visible tattoos, trimmed nails, no facial or excessive piercings, and well-groomed hair.
* Must attend all training classes and obtain a 90% or better on final exam.
