Description Full-time, Permanent Based at Doncaster Attractive salary $100k–$110k p.a. super salary packaging, depending on experience. NFP Salary Packaging up to $15,900 Meal Card up to $2,650 MannaCare is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Physiotherapist to provide high-quality, client-centred physiotherapy services to our residential aged care consumers. This role combines hands-on clinical practice with strong leadership and service development, supporting residents to maintain mobility, independence and quality of life. Reporting to the Executive Director – Residential Services, you will play a key role in supporting residents’ mobility, independence, and quality of life, while supervising and mentoring Allied Health staff. About the role You will deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services to residential consumers through assessment, treatment, care planning, and review. The role includes both individual and group programs and a strong focus on falls prevention, safe mobility, and evidence-based practice. You will also provide clinical leadership through supervision of Allied Health Assistants, delivery of manual handling education, and oversight of physiotherapy-related additional services. All services are delivered in line with relevant funding requirements, professional guidelines, the Aged Care Quality Standards, and MannaCare’s values and policies. Key responsibilities Deliver individual and group physiotherapy services that are client-centred, evidence-based and culturally sensitive Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans and regular reviews for all residents Conduct mobility and falls risk assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary falls prevention strategies Develop, implement and review individualised mobility and falls management programs Provide physiotherapy input into post-fall reviews, incidents and continuous improvement activities Supervise, support and educate Allied Health Assistants, including performance management and KPI oversight Deliver manual handling training as part of staff induction and refresher programs Maintain accurate clinical documentation, case notes and statistics, including AN-ACC requirements Undertake equipment, mobility aid and seating assessments and coordinate trials and reviews Manage and deliver physiotherapy services under the Additional Services Package Liaise with residents, families, medical practitioners and other health professionals as required Supervise physiotherapy students or work experience placements when required Contribute to service improvement, audits, reporting and policy development About you You are a motivated and clinically confident Physiotherapist with experience working with older people in a residential or similar setting. You are comfortable working independently, value teamwork, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
