Overview
We are seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join our client\'s project team for a key project based in Carshalton. The scheme involves refurbishment works to a housing block, including: Full roof replacement, Window replacements and associated making good and Façade repairs. This is a live environment with vulnerable residents, so communication, empathy, and professionalism are critical throughout the duration of the project.
Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact between the residents and the project team
* Ensure clear, timely communication of works to all residents and stakeholders
* Organise and attend resident meetings, drop-in sessions, and coffee mornings
* Assist with scheduling access to properties and communal spaces for surveys and works
* Maintain detailed records of correspondence, complaints, and resolutions
* Manage and resolve resident issues or concerns in a prompt, sensitive manner
* Distribute newsletters, updates, and notices relating to works
* Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed when working around vulnerable residents
* Work closely with site managers and contractors to ensure minimal disruption
Candidate
* Previous experience as an RLO working for a main contractor
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathy and understanding when dealing with elderly and/or vulnerable residents
Candidate requirements
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
* Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced site environment
* Basic knowledge of construction processes preferred
