Are you ready to spark curiosity and support the first steps of a child's educational journey? We are seeking passionate and energetic Early Years Assistants to join a variety of primary schools across Thornton-Cleveleys and the Fylde.
Whether working in on-site pre-schools, nurseries, or mixed EYFS reception classes, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of children aged 3-5 during this critical stage of development.
The Role: Play, Grow, and Nurture
In the Early Years, every day is an adventure. We need practitioners who aren't afraid to get stuck in whether that's leading a sensory activity indoors or exploring the outdoor provision in the fresh air.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Igniting Curiosity: Supporting the delivery of engaging, messy, and creative play-based learning from paint and sand to water and sensory zones.
Holistic Development: Helping children as they bridge the gap between nursery and the Reception curriculum, focusing on social, emotional, and physical milestones.
Personal Care & Support: Providing a nurturing hand with toilet training and helping little ones adapt to the routines of school life.
Continuous Provision: Ensuring the learning environment is stimulating, safe, and inclusive for every child.
About You
We are looking for individuals with a "can-do" attitude and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
Ideally, you will have:
Qualifications: A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
EYFS Knowledge: A solid grasp of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Energy & Enthusiasm: The stamina to keep up with active 3-5 year olds and a genuine passion for their well-being.
Communication Skills: The ability to build instant rapport with children and professional relationships with parents and colleagues.
What We Offer
Flexibility: With various roles available, we can offer schedules ranging from full-time to part-time to suit your lifestyle.
Supportive Communities: Work within welcoming schools that are committed to excellence and high standards.
Professional Growth: Access to ongoing training and development to enhance your EYFS expertise.
Competitive Pay: Earn a fair wage while making a lasting impact on local families.
