A vacancy has arisen within our SQE Department for an Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Apprentice on a 4 year Apprenticeship Programme. The role is to undertake a formal apprenticeship within the business environment of Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd with a view to a long term career whilst working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership. To ensure compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, Environmental Policy and Quality system. Your Responsibilities Key responsibilities and accountabilities, includes but not limited to: To undertake an apprenticeship programme as a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprentice (level 4). The apprenticeship is in the category of business and administration. The programme will be work-based training at Biggleswade and will include written course work from a designated college/education provider. Assist with annual data collection and carbon emissions reporting. Undertake reception cover when required. Undertake daily tasks including general administration within the SQE department. To work as required with other departments to achieve an understanding of social and governance as required by the training programme. Ensure and maintain the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others in the workplace. Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post. With a View To, On Completion Identify and develop initiatives that align with the Liebherr Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability strategy. Monitor and actively contribute to the company’s existing and future carbon reduction plans Identify relevant social and environmental risks to the business and escalate internal and external stakeholders accordingly. Collect, analyse and input data from across the business required by industry and mandatory reporting requirements. Contribute to regular communications to promote initiatives and campaigns Your Profile The successful candidate will require the following: 4 GCSE’s or equivalent at ‘A-C’ grade or 9 - 4 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics Demonstrates a passion for environmental and social change, the industry and your own personal development. Good IT skills Be articulate and able to communicate confidently. Strong interpersonal skills. Smart and well presented. Flexible approach to work.
