We are looking for a Gardener (Bank)

Job description
Cover all aspects of garden maintenance and soft landscaping.
Duties will include:
1. Grass cutting
2. Weeding
3. Pruning
4. Seasonal planting
5. Hedge cutting
6. Garden clearance
7. Strimming
8. Use of grass cutters and other machinery.
9. Implement actions to meet and maintain standards.
10. Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise..
11. Routine maintenance such as litter collection and sweeping.
12. Report and action any known defects to appliances, damaged furniture / equipment and any other potential hazards to the Home Manager, who will advise accordingly.
13. Ensure the exterior of the Nursing Home is always clean and presentable.
14. Keep any sheds, outbuildings and areas clean and tidy.
15. Clear snow and grit the drive, paths and any areas to which Clients, Visitors or Staff Members have access.
Person specification
16. Must have full UK driving license
17. Previous gardening experience is essential
18. Excellent communication skills
19. Plant knowledge,
20. Motivated
21. Organised
22. Good time keeper
23. Be able to work under your own supervision and as part of a team
24. Satisfactory enhanced DBS check
