Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Hotel Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising bathrooms.
* Maintain cleanliness of corridors, reception areas, dining spaces, and other communal areas.
* Replenish toiletries, towels, and other guest amenities as required.
* Handle cleaning equipment and materials safely, following hotel health and safety protocols.
* Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
* Respond politely and efficiently to guest requests for additional cleaning or supplies.
* Ensure high levels of presentation across all areas to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
* Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
* Excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Weekend work is a must
* Attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
