Job Advert Job Title: Housekeeper (Zero-Hour Contract) Salary: National Minimum Wage Contract: Part Time Hours Available Working Hours: Between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (Shifts across Monday – Sunday, working alternative weekends) Reports To: Deputy Head Housekeeper Location: Accommodation can be provided as part of this role. We are the ideal touring base, being virtually at the geographical ‘hub’ of Scotland in Angus near Dundee and Tayside, with the most extraordinary variety of wonderful scenery on our doorstep. What will you be doing? We are excited to be recruiting for a Housekeeper on a part time basis, where your responsibilities will be to clean and maintain our lodges, and all main resort areas (including bar, events hall, washrooms and reception) to a high standard. When cleaning the lodges you will work to the arrival and departure list to prioritise the cleaning for the day, create individual laundry bags for lodges containing the bedding and towels needed, maintain sufficient stock of all guest supplies in each lodge e.g. toilet roll, hand wash etc. You will also be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues, for example faults and damages, and ensure all hazardous cleaning materials are stored and used safely. It is important that you maintain relationships with all departments within the resort to ensure a good flow of communication and understanding of customer expectations to ensure that service meets expectations, deal with any cleaning complaints in a prompt and professional manner and be flexible in your approach so that you can help with other duties when required. A full job description is available on request. The successful candidate will ideally have 1 year of cleaning experience and access to transport due to the location. What we offer?
