An internal secondment opportunity has arisen within the Delivery Team for a Project Manager on a 6‑month secondment. This role offers a valuable development opportunity for colleagues with an interest in housing development and project delivery. Term: 6‑month secondment Salary: £52,025 p/a Reporting to: Senior Development Manager Based at Glory Park, High Wycombe. CORRECTION - previously stated Letchworth. 1 week advertising only - role closes for applications at 5.30pm on Thursday 23 April 2026 About the Role/Team You will support the Delivery Team by project managing a portfolio of development schemes, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Working closely with the Senior Development Manager, internal teams and external partners, you will support schemes through delivery, handover and defects, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, audit and health & safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage development projects from inception to completion, with support as required Monitor programmes, budgets, risks and quality across schemes Work collaboratively with Design & Quality, New Business, Sales, Aftercare and external consultants Support financial appraisals, forecasting, purchase orders and cost control Maintain accurate project reporting and audit‑ready documentation Attend site meetings and ensure health & safety compliance Support defect management, customer issues and project close‑down Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement About You You will demonstrate our values, take ownership of your work and work collaboratively to deliver positive outcomes. You will have: Experience in housing development or a related field Knowledge of the social housing sector and construction safety Ability to manage project finances and work with third‑party contractors Strong communication, organisation and IT skills A proactive and solutions‑focused approach A full driving licence with access to a car for business use Relevant professional membership or qualifications (e.g. CIOB, RICS, IOSH, NEBOSH) are desirable.
