Tormead School is an academically selective independent school for 800 girls aged 4–18, located a short stroll from the historic town centre of Guildford, just 40 minutes by train to London, with excellent transport links by road and rail.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher for Drama to support our thriving and successful drama curriculum, to teach drama to Years 7 to 13 and to contribute to school productions in a lively, ambitious and supportive department. The role would suit a creative and inspirational drama graduate looking to start a career in the subject, or an experienced teacher with a genuine passion for Drama and a desire to inspire this in others.
Candidates will have a firm grasp of curricular developments, inspire high standards, have a warm approach, and will show enthusiasm for wider involvement in the School's rich co-curricular programme. We value colleagues who are imaginative, flexible and have the ability to inspire and support students. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work harmoniously with others, including students, colleagues, parents, and the wider community.

This maternity cover position on a fixed term basis for up to one year. Full or part time considered.
