An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Rural Community Rehabilitation Team based in Wincanton, covering Wincanton Hospital and the Community.
Do you enjoy completing prescription rehabilitation from Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with a complex caseload during inpatient stays or in patients' own homes?
Do you enjoy participating in and running groups such as exercise classes, mindfulness sessions, Breakfast clubs, and Balance and Safety groups?
Come and join our friendly therapy team, which includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Senior Rehabilitation Assistants.
Main duties of the job
1. Work as an integral member of the Community Rehabilitation Service, providing effective support to Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other team members.
2. Support patients undertaking therapy/rehabilitation programmes to help them achieve their optimal level of independence and quality of life, as directed by team therapists.
3. Work with patients in various community locations, including community hospitals, care home rehabilitation units, and in service users' own homes, under the supervision of rehabilitation professionals.
