The Resourcing Team are responsible for ensuring that the correct level of vehicle resources and drivers are in place at the terminals. The Resource Administrators will provide administrative support to the Resource Managers and Capability Coordinator, including assisting with communication to various stakeholders outside of the Resource Management department. Job Responsibilities: Support the Resource Managers with communications to all stakeholders Assist the Resource Managers in maintaining the resource system as needed. Coordinate with the HCC (Huddersfield Control Centre) Analyst team to support the creation of management information related to the resource function. Provide general administrative support. This may include, but is not limited to, assisting with the maintenance of a capability matrix, collating overtime availability across locations, and producing summary plans for the field management team and Driver Training Instructors (DTIs). Review drivers hours submissions from agencies and, subject to the Operations Transport Managers' (OTM) authorisation, raise, send and track the appropriate Purchase Orders. Raise, send and track the appropriate Purchase Orders for driver medicals, random Drug & Alcohol tests, and external training providers. Plan all periodic driver training, including annual refreshers and defensive driving training, and in conjunction with the Operations Training Manager, plan and arrange all driver ADR renewals Maintain a driver capability matrix and plan training accordingly so that driver capability is in line with requirements. Develop strong working relationships with HCC colleagues, the Operations Training Manager, the SHEQ controllers and LTMs. Qualifications / Experience Required The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate; High level of attention to detail Experience in resource management or planning (beneficial but not essential) Knowledge of ATOSS (beneficial but not essential) Knowledge of Purchase Order systems (beneficial, but not essential) Have experience working in the transport industry.
