We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Torquay for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
The practice is looking for a vet with good experience who has excellent communication skills in order to inform and support clients and a genuine interest in animal welfare. You must have good general surgical and medical skills and be passionate about keeping up to date with your own professional development. The practice can support any interests but a bias in surgery would be advantageous.
This position is full time with shifts from 8:30am to 4:30pm or 11am to 7:30pm, along with 1 in 4 weekends with Fridays and a half day on Monday off in lieu. The hours from 8am to 7pm on weekends are considered paid hours but you are only expected to be in the practice on Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm, with hours only coming in addition if there is an emergency callout. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
