Our client is a well:established manufacturer of bespoke products used within the electrical industry sector for both the UK and globally, and they are seeking a Machine Technician to join their existing team. As a Machine Technician, you will set, calibrate and operate precision production equipment.
Machine Technician Responsibilities
: Working to engineering drawings and production documents.
: Use precision measurement equipment to set equipment accurately.
: Set, calibrate and operate precision measurement equipment.
: Calculate lengths and quantities of materials required for production using Excel and mental arithmetic.
: Support other production activities when required.
Machine Technician Requirements
: Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
: Experienced in operating and setting production machinery
: Apprentice trained and entry level candidates will be considered.
: Experience working with metals would be beneficial.
: Must be able to work to engineering drawings and production documents.
: Must be comfortable in making calculations and using Exsel.
