Senior Business Development Manager
Software Sales - Logistics
Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Remote with UK Travel
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in selling Logistics Software Sales? Our client is a global Logistics and Supply Chain Software Solution provider.
This role involves developing and converting a sales pipeline and being accountable for individual sales reporting. The Senior Business Development Manager will support sales initiatives and collaborate across the business to convert significant opportunities with corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership
o Sales Growth: Develop a new business sales pipeline, aligned with sales KPIs for growth, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
o Strategic projects/bids: Coordinate strategic bid responses.
o Key/global accounts: Collaborate to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Lead sales efforts for key clients with significant potential.
o Culture Building: Promote a motivated sales culture emphasizing success, inclusivity, and professional growth.
Client relationship management
* Client-centricity: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
* Source and Selection: Generate sales-qualified leads from personal activity and network to meet KPIs.
Business Partnership
* Communication: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Analytics teams to align strategies.
* Deal Focus: Identify and support new business opportunities to generate revenue.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Manage your sales pipeline with accurate reporting and forecasting.
* Lead Generation: Collaborate with Marketing to drive lead generation.
* Data-driven: Develop and track KPIs, using insights to improve strategies.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Business Development Manager.
* Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Software Sales.
