Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
* Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with licensing laws and company standards
* Serve food items promptly and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
* Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
* Assist in setting up tables, organising seating arrangements, and clearing tables as needed
* Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, addressing any special requests or dietary requirements
* Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality or food service roles is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
* Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
* Good basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
* Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
