Key Criteria
* Studying towards a degree in a scientific or engineering field
* Availability for the full 12-month placement (or eligible for 3–6 months)
* Graduating in 2028 (priority), or graduating in 2026/2027 for shorter placements
* Demonstrated interest in research, innovation and product development
* Evidence of leadership, initiative or achievement (academic or extracurricular)
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and data-handling skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in technical, multidisciplinary teams
* Clear communication skills and confidence working in fast-paced environments
What to Expect
As part of the R&D team, you’ll work on real projects from day one — gaining hands-on experience in laboratory environments, pilot plants and research facilities. You’ll be supported by a personalised learning plan, regular coaching and high-quality technical training throughout your placement.
You’ll collaborate with expert scientists and engineers, contribute to technological development, analyse data, and build an understanding of how products are created, tested and refined before reaching consumers.

Eligibility
* Designed for students graduating in 2028 with a placement year as part of their degree (12-month placement).
* A limited number of 3–6 month placements are available for students graduating in 2026 or 2027, or recent graduates.
