Business Development Manager
Location - Hybrid – Midlands
Salary £35k – £45k + Bonus + Company Vehicle

About the Role:
We are looking for a purposeful Business Development Manager to identify and secure new service contracts across both public and private sectors. Reporting to the Group Head of Sales, you will take full ownership of your pipeline — from prospecting through to contract mobilisation.
You will focus 80% on recurring service contracts and 20% on projects, playing a key role in building long-term client relationships, driving brand awareness, and converting high-value opportunities into long-term revenue.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and convert new business opportunities
* Build and manage a robust pipeline using CRM tools
* Create tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals
* Conduct site visits and design proposals for fire and security systems
* Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to target key sectors
* Analyse and report on sales performance and KPIs
The ideal candidate will need to have:
* Proven B2B sales experience in fire, security, or related sectors
* Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills
* Confident managing the full sales cycle independently
* Comfortable with hybrid work and regular client-facing activity
* Organised, proactive, and aligned with our customer-first values
