The University of Winchester is seeking a skilled and proactive Carpenter to join our Estates and Facilities team, supporting the maintenance and development of a vibrant university campus.
This is a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of our built environment. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks, with a particular focus on fire door compliance, fire stopping, and lock maintenance, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Working across a diverse estate of academic buildings, student accommodation, and heritage properties, you will contribute to both reactive and planned maintenance, as well as small-scale refurbishment projects.

*The salary for this post is made up of the following components:
* Full time annual salary £27,319 - £30,378 (based on 37 hours per week)
* 2 hours contractual overtime per week £2,215 - £2,463 per annum
