Engineering Project Manager – Infrastructure Location: Oxford (Hybrid) Contract: 6 Months | Full-Time | Monday to Friday Salary: £50-£60 ph - | Mileage reimbursed from baseWe are urgently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects in the Oxford area. This is a full-time role with hybrid working options. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as occasional site visits will be required (mileage reimbursed).Key Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of large, complex transport infrastructure projectsManage multi-disciplinary project teams, either directly or through matrix managementOversee the use of NEC4 contracts and procurement frameworksEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budgetEngage proactively with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliersEssential Requirements:Substantial experience in infrastructure project management (new transport infrastructure preferred)Demonstrated experience leading complex engineering projectsChartered status or equivalent (e.g., CEng or PMP)Evidence of continued professional developmentStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience working within NEC4 contracts and public procurement frameworksDesirable:Background in new build transport infrastructure (not just highways maintenance)Familiarity with local authority or public sector project environmentsThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact transport infrastructure development in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
