Temp All Staffing is pleased to announce a permanent career opportunity for a AD Plant Operator on behalf of a premier client in the farming and food production industry production sector.
The Role
Core Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance: Execute planned and reactive repairs on machinery, vehicles, and site infrastructure (including heating/environmental systems) to minimise downtime.
2. Cost Control: Support cost reduction by using parts and labour efficiently and assisting with part procurement.
3. Quality & Safety: Maintain high standards of repair to ensure site safety and operational continuity.
4. Compliance: Adhere to Health & Safety legislation, use proper PPE, and keep training certifications current.
5. Teamwork: Coordinate with other departments to prioritise urgent workloads and assist in wider site tasks.
Key Tasks:
6. Diagnose faults and perform timely mechanical and structural repairs.
7. Conduct routine equipment and vehicle servicing.
8. Manage maintenance stock levels and time logs.
9. Implement preventative maintenance to reduce long-term failures.
Your Experience/ Requirements
10. Proven experience working as a Plant Operator ideally as a AD Plant Operator
11. Experience within a agricultural/ horticultural or general building environment is preferred
