Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Shift Manager to join our high‑performing Logistics Solutions Management team at DPD UK.
As a Logistics Shift Manager, you will work within our Logistics Warehouse environment where operating efficiently under pressure and at pace is fundamental.
In this role you will primarily manage a small team of operatives to deliver the day‑to‑day requirements of the warehouse pick and pack operation.
You will oversee your team to achieve KPIs for productivity, cost planning and accuracy, while monitoring and championing levels of service and actively seeking improvement activities.
Responsibilities
* Follow and promote all policies and procedures, including HR, Health and Safety, Quality and Housekeeping, ensuring all training requirements are met.
* Lead and motivate a high‑performing team.
* Achieve KPIs for productivity, cost and accuracy of warehouse processes.
* Monitor and champion levels of service and seek improvement activities.
Qualifications
* Experience in a logistics operation with proven people‑management experience, involving direct accountability for motivating and leading a team.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and manage a team.
* Decisive decision‑making, problem‑resolution and time‑management skills.
* High levels of resilience, self‑motivation and flexibility.
* Excellent computer skills and ability to use Google Chrome applications.
* Ability to produce comprehensive reporting and analyse data.
* Vigilant against unscrupulous activity and able to take swift action.

* A full UK driving licence is essential.
