This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for their expertise across the engineering and environmental landscapes, including flood management and ground investigation. They are seeking a keen, experienced Senior Flood Risk Consultant willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of experts, based near the modern, industrial city of Salford.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
7. Completing technical work for a number of complex projects
8. Producing Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications
9. Creating Drainage Strategies and Drainage Designs
10. Utilising a number of relevant software packages, such as InfoDrainage and Causeway PDS
11. Providing mentorship and leadership to less-experienced colleagues
12. Getting involved with Environmental and Hydrological Projects
13. Attending site visits and meetings across the region, representing the company
14. Liaising with a number of clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
15. A Degree in Hydrology, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant field)
16. Demonstrable experience of having worked in a design role, within a UK-based consultancy setting (or for a Local Authority)
17. Extensive experience of completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Drainage Designs
18. Outstanding working knowledge of Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and other, similar software
19. Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
20. Experience of managing design projects
21. Experience of creating detailed design solutions for soakaways and lagoons
22. Hold Chartership Status, or actively working to attain this
23. Prior experience of liaising with a diverse range of clientele
