The Role You will be responsible for the commercial management of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with the project delivery team, you will ensure schemes are delivered efficiently, commercially, and in line with client expectations. Key Responsibilities Managing the commercial aspects of planned maintenance and residential refurbishment projects Preparing cost plans, budgets, and financial forecasts Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration Managing valuations, variations, and payment applications Monitoring project costs and providing accurate financial reporting Managing risk and identifying commercial opportunities Preparing and agreeing final accounts Supporting the wider project team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Requirements Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or refurbishment Experience working on planned maintenance, refurbishment, or residential projects is advantageous Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects within a framework environment Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (preferred) Package Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience Company car or car allowance Company pension scheme Generous holiday entitlement Private healthcare Secure pipeline of work through long-term framework agreements Excellent working environment with low staff turnover and strong team culture
