Job Description
Gleeson Recruitment Group are exclusively partnering with a leading UK energy and infrastructure services provider to recruit a Head of Finance for their Energy Division.
This is a high-profile, senior leadership role with responsibility for the financial strategy and performance of the Energy Division. You will report directly to the divisional leadership team, work closely with the FD and MD, and play a key role in driving growth, efficiency, and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the divisional finance function, providing strategic insight and robust financial governance.
\t
* Oversee reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across multiple business units.
\t
* Partner with operational leaders to drive commercial performance and support key investment decisions.
\t
* Ensure effective contract accounting and management of large-scale service/infrastructure contracts.
\t
* Support compliance, risk management, and financial control across the division.
The Candidate
\t
* Qualified finance professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
\t
* Proven leadership skills and experience influencing at senior/executive level.
\t
* Background in complex, multi-entity organisations, ideally in energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
\t
* Strong commercial acumen and experience with contract accounting in large-scale projects.
\t
* Collaborative, proactive, and motivated to contribute to the energy transition.
