Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment during their stay. Previous experience in hotels or janitorial services is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
* Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
* Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Maintain an organised cleaning cart and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
* Assist with laundry services as needed.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly manner.
Requirements
* Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred.
* Janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
