We are looking for Machine Operators to work for our Client based in Hamilton & Rothley, Leicester. They are a multinational company with sites in Leicester and Rothley and are passionate about the future of our planet. The role of the Machine Operator is a temp to perm role. Pay for the Machine Operator – temp to perm
* £12.37 per hour with a shift allowance once training is completed of £14.49 per hour
Hours / Shifts:
* 4 on 4 off consisting of 2 days and 2 nights then 4 days off
* 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am
* While you are being trained you will be on days – 9am to 5.30pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain the continuous running of the Packaging Machines
* Facilitate product changeovers including the loading of polyethylene reels
* Responsible for the effective running of the log saw as and when required
* Interact with the Machine to solve minor issues/breakdowns leading to the enhanced productivity of the machines
* Carry out quality checks on productions when required and report any faults to the respective person
* Carry out small maintenance activities and adjustments
* Support the colleagues in case of need and overview the end-line process when required
* Be accountable for high levels of housekeeping in the working area throughout the shift
* Ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
Additional Requirements:
* Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is highly desirable
* Experience working as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
