We’re offering a unique opportunity to join our high-performing, customer-focused dealership at Vertu Volkswagen Mansfield as our new Parts Manager, with additional responsibility as our Health & Safety (H&S) Coordinator. This is a role that offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday – giving you the work-life balance you deserve.
£32,510 basic salary | OTE up to £36,510 | Plus £500 annual H&S bonus | Company Car + Benefits
This is a full-time, permanent role at a profitable and stable site with low staff turnover. You’ll be leading a close-knit team of two experienced Parts Advisors, making this a perfect step-up role if you have Parts Department experience or you’re an existing manager looking to grow with a leading brand.
What you’ll do:
As Parts Manager, you’ll take ownership of the department and lead your team of two advisors, ensuring efficient operations, excellent customer service, and a positive working environment. You’ll be responsible for:
* Leading and supporting your team to meet departmental goals
* Managing stock, systems, and minimising loss
* Maximising profitability and delivering the business plan
* Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Contributing to the dealership’s outstanding customer satisfaction scores
As H&S Coordinator, you’ll:
* Support the General Manager in promoting a strong safety culture
* Monitor compliance and maintain accurate records (e.g. Rivo Safeguard)
* Ensure key H&S activities are completed and gaps reported
* Set an example and act when issues arise
* Play a key role in creating a safe and supportive workplace
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in a Parts Department, ideally with team support or leadership
* Strong communication and people skills
* A proactive, organised approach
* Confidence working both customer-facing and behind the scenes
