Our leading national client have a fantastic national reputation in the Projects and Energy sectors and are seeking an ambitious Projects & Energy solicitor to join their thriving Bristol or Birmingham offices.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to join this highly experienced Energy & Projects team which has an enviable track record of deliveringplex projects and energy transactions within both the public and private sectors.
You will be involved in providing legal support to your clients ranging from project developers and projectpanies, to local authorities and sub-contractors on a host of different contractual and partnership arrangements; whilst also advising on challengingernance issues and helping them operate in accordance with all relevant regulatory frameworks.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a Projects or Energy lawyer with experience of advising public or private sector clients on the raft of transactions within this growing sector. Lawyers with a construction,mercial or a procurement background would also be of interest. Experience in energy from waste projects would be of particular interest.
You will be an enthusiastic lawyer with strong technical skills and an ability to understand and work throughplex issues, while being enthusiastic about embedding yourself in this growing and pivotal sector. You will have some experience of running large scale projects, handling client relationships and overseeing juniors in your team.
