Role Overview
As the Assistant Store Manager of our store in Kingston upon Hull, you will assist in managing the store's profit and loss through effective team management. You should be commercially aware and KPI-focused, monitoring sales figures to ensure profitability. Customer service is paramount, and you will lead by example to drive service excellence.
The ideal candidate will have retail management experience, preferably in outdoor sports, and possess knowledge of merchandising, team development, customer interaction, cash handling, stock management, and health & safety. An active interest in outdoor activities is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage overall store performance, including customer service, team, product, and daily operations.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and HR procedures.
* Provide practical solutions and evaluate performance using KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
