Junior Buyer
to join our team.
Bringing fresh ideas as well as a strong commercial focus, you will identify, source, and deliver great product for the Cernucci customer.
Duties include:
* Being accountable for the department critical path ensuring it's managed across the supply base from product development to delivery deadlines
* Keeping up to date with current trends and market research ,bringing new creative ideas to better both the business and department
* Presenting weekly and daily trade reports
* Working with the Social & Marketing teams on campaigns in line with department and business strategy
* Working with the Merchandising team to lead the department strategy
* Setting frameworks together with Merchandising, in line with department forecasts
* Managing OTB, monitoring sales performances, stock levels and high cover lines
* Liaising with suppliers and building relationships, negotiating best cost prices and managing lead times
* Overseeing product development to ensure all product signed off is on brand and trend relevant
* Attending regular supplier meetings including overseas trips and trade shows
* Sourcing and meeting new suppliers to benefit the department strategy
* Maintaining and growing relationships with wider business functions
* Any other duties proportionate with the level of responsibility of this role
About you
You'll have already been working as a Junior Buyer and have a strong eye for spotting trends as well as:
* Super organisational skills, juggling multiple priorities
* Fresh ideas, taking the initiative to provide inspiration for the team
* Strong collaboration skills
* Be able to work well in a team environment
* A positive attitude with the ability to motivate others
* Experience working in a fast paced working environment
* Great attention to detail
