Interim Director of Governance, Improvement & Development (Adult Social Care & Health)\n\n 📍 Liverpool | 12-Month Contract | Hybrid Working | Competitive Day Rate\n We are currently recruiting for a senior interim leader to join a progressive local authority in Liverpool, taking up the strategic post of Director of Governance, Improvement and Development within Adult Social Care & Health.\n This critical role is responsible for overseeing governance structures, driving improvement programmes, and leading developmental initiatives to ensure high-quality service delivery and regulatory readiness.\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nProvide strategic leadership across governance, quality assurance, and performance improvement.\nLead system transformation and prepare services for external inspection (e.g. CQC).\nCollaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to embed sustainable improvement.\nDevelop a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.Requirements:\n\nProven experience at Director/Assistant Director level within adult social care or health.\nStrong track record in service transformation and governance.\nExcellent understanding of local government and health partnerships.\nAbility to lead at pace, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.Details:\n 📆 Contract: 12 months\n 📍 Location: Liverpool (hybrid working available)\n 💷 Rate: Competitive 844.98LTD or 639.60 PAYE\n 🕒 Start: ASAP\n To apply or find out more, please contact Delanie at (url removed) or call (phone number removed)
