Your new companyWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshal / Banksman to join a large-scale construction project in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work (2 years) on a busy, well-organised site with a reputable main contractor.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, plant, and personnel across site, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.Your new role
* Acting as the designated Traffic Marshal/Banksman on site
* Safely directing the movement of delivery vehicles, HGVs, and plant machinery
* Managing site access and egress points for vehicles and pedestrians
* Communicating clearly with drivers, site operatives, and visitors
* Ensuring all vehicle movements comply with site safety procedures
* Maintaining pedestrian segregation and safe walkways
* Assisting with deliveries and coordinating traffic flow during busy periods
What you'll need to succeed
* Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman ticket (CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent) - essential
* Valid CSCS card - essential
* Proven experience working on busy construction sites
