Job Description Exams Officer Location: Secondary School, Newham We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Exams Officer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all internal and external examinations. About the Role: As Exams Officer, you will be responsible for: Managing the administration, organisation, and smooth delivery of all examinations. Liaising with exam boards, staff, students, and parents to ensure full compliance with JCQ regulations. Leading on exam timetables, entries, and results processes. Training, managing, and coordinating a team of invigilators. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data is processed efficiently and securely. About You: Excellent organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. IT confident, with experience using data systems (SIMS or similar is desirable). Previous experience in an exams or data role in education is an advantage, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
