Our client is based in Fareham, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects the accountancy team is looking for additional support.
Job Description
3. Accurately process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
4. Maintain up-to-date payroll records and handle any discrepancies promptly.
5. Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to reconcile payroll accounts.
6. Respond to employee queries regarding payroll matters in a professional and timely manner.
7. Prepare and submit statutory filings, including tax and pension contributions.
8. Support internal audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and reports.
9. Continuously review and improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
10. Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices in payroll management.

In order to be considered for the Payroll Specialist position, you must be able to do most, if not all of the above.
