About the Role
As a Glazier you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing windows to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of tenants. Skilled in installing and replacing glass in residential properties, often working on double-glazing units, safety glass, and energy-efficient fittings.
You will be knowledgeable about building regulations and health and safety requirements specific to social housing, as well as courteous and professional when engaging with residents, ensuring minimal disruption during repairs or installations.
Role Criteria:
1. FENSA approved installer
2. Must be competent with all aspects of glazing and UPVC works including installing/replacing hinges, handles, restrictors, locks and sliding gear.
3. Must have experience of and be able to undertake changing of UPVC trims, sills and renewing of double-glazed units.
4. You must be able to measure glass and doors and confidently order materials with our suppliers. Must be familiar with composite doors.
5. Proven previous experience working within social housing.
6. Good Customer Service Skills
7. Hold a Full UK Driving License
