Lilac Ward is a busy 32-bedded medical admissions unit, providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions. We pride ourselves on our strong team ethos, supportive leadership, and commitment to delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care.
We are currently seeking a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse who shares our values and is passionate about making a difference. You will support the Ward Manager in leading the team, driving clinical excellence, and fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
Main duties of the job
1. A registered nurse (NMC) with a genuine passion for patient care.
2. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
3. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
4. A proactive approach to learning and development
· Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY at Scarborough Hospital. Remote interviews will not be available.
· The validity of Nursing and Midwifery Council PIN will be checked before shortlisting - inaccuracies in NMC PIN details will mean your application will not be progressed
