Job Scope: We are seeking an Oliver McGowan Trainer to join us at Catalyst Care Group. As an Oliver McGowan Trainer, you will help deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability to health and social care staff. Using your personal experiences, you will support professionals to provide more person-centred, empathetic, and effective care through the Oliver McGowan training framework.
The Oliver McGowan Trainer will work alongside a supportive training team to deliver engaging sessions, respond to staff questions, and ensure the training is meaningful, inclusive, and respectful. You will co-deliver Oliver McGowan sessions in person, helping staff understand the real-life impact of learning disabilities and how to apply best practice in their work.
Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging sessions, respond to staff questions, and ensure the training is meaningful, inclusive, and respectful.
* Work alongside a supportive training team to deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability to health and social care staff.

What Youll Need
* Lived experience of a learning disability.
* Confidence speaking in front of small to medium groups.
* Good listening and communication skills.
* Ability to share personal experiences in a clear and engaging way.
* Reliability, punctuality, and preparedness for each session.
* Ability to work collaboratively with the training team.
* Respect for confidentiality and following data protection rules.
* Self-employed / LTD status required.
