Female Support Worker Location: Ingoldmells Payrate: £14.18 per hour flat rate Shift Times: 36 hours per week on shifts - Days 8:00am - 21:00pm & Waking Nights 21:00pm - 8:00am A face-to-face Interview Day for this role will take place on Monday 23rd February 2026 that you will be invited to if successful from a 1st stage telephone interview.Attendance is mandatory as it forms a key part of the interview and selection process if successful at pre-screen. This is a role to work specifically with an individual who likes to be active and creative. They are autistic and wheelchair user and require support from staff that value honesty and respect. This role is about working with someone, not over them, and youll be part of a team that values clear communication, mutual respect, and practical, compassionate care. Were looking for someone who is: A female Support Worker who is a car owner and willing to use their car for work with milage paid. Willing and able to support all aspects of life including cooking, activities, and life skills. Treats others the way theyd want to be treated Respects the individuals space, belongings, and autonomy Is proactive and can take initiative without being prompted constantly. Has emotional resilience and life experienceconversations and needs can sometimes be complex or sensitive Is calm, observant, and able to help manage triggers before they become an issue Able to problem solve Understands that quality of life is more important than pushing for total independence and demonstrates a willingness to adapt depending on the need presented, as they vary day to day. Wants to support someone in living a fulfilling, self-directed life. Fully engaged in the role, not just active but attentive.
