About the role
The UK Chief Revenue Operations Officer (CROO) will lead and scale revenue operations within the UK division of Ekco, security-first managed cloud provider. Responsible for aligning and optimising all functions that drive revenue growth — including revenue management, sales operations and procurement, business reporting and analysis, bid management, and sales supporting functions. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CROO will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth, operational efficiency, visibility and market competitiveness.
Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Management
• Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue operations strategy to support long-term growth and profitability.
• Oversee end-to-end revenue lifecycle processes
• Partner with finance and business unit leaders to create and manage revenue reporting and performance dashboards.
Sales Operations & Procurement
• Lead and evolve sales operations to improve productivity, enable data driven decisions and establish clear and streamlined ways of working.
• Lead and oversee procurement and deal desk function ensuring timely support of sales requests for customer quotes and proposals, as well as managing external supply chain relationships and agreements to ensure best value for Ekco UK.
• Implement and optimise tools, systems, and technologies that enable scalable sales execution and automation.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Sales Analytics & Reporting
• Build a data-driven culture by leading a team of analysts to generate actionable insights across customer segments, products, and regions.
• Drive business intelligence and revenue reporting that informs strategic and tactical decisions across the go-to-market teams.
Bid & Proposal Management
• Oversee the bid management function, ensuring the timely development of competitive, compliant, and compelling proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across departments to craft winning strategies for large-scale managed service contracts.
Sales Support & Enablement
• Lead the sales support function, ensuring high-quality resources, training, and tools are in place to enable sales teams to perform effectively.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between sales and service delivery teams to support customer acquisition and revenue retention initiatives.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and other members of the SLT to align revenue strategy with overall business goals.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team across revenue operations disciplines, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
• Champion best practices, continuous improvement, and customer-centric thinking across the organisation.
Requirements
• Proven track record in establishing and leading a revenue / sales operations management function at a senior level (Director / VP / Chief Rev Ops Officer), within an MSP or technology-focused organisation.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including sales operations, commercial, product supply and strategic partnerships in the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of the mid-market and enterprise MSP landscape, including customer needs, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable results.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology or a related field desirable.
