A well-established law firm in Aylesbury has a vacancy for a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join its growing conveyancing team. This firm is known for providing non-qualified staff with excellent long-term progression opportunities, including support through qualification via the SQE.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
* Processing Land Registry applications and registrations
* Conducting priority searches, bankruptcy searches and Land Registry checks
* Preparing contract packs and handling pre- and post-completion tasks
* Drafting and submitting SDLT returns to HMRC
About You:
* Have at least 12 months' experience of assisting fee-earners in a busy conveyancing department
* Familiarity with Land Registry and SDLT submission portals
* Excellent attention to detail
