Your future challenge
As Planning and Service Manager you will join a well-established Company that truly values the wellbeing of its employees. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Supply Chain you will manage and develop the Planning and Service Team within budget frames, policies and overall objectives of the Mill, and implement and follow up on service offerings.
The holder of this position will be expected to work closely with Customers, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics and internal functions throughout the mill (Board making, Technical Services).
Your responsibilities would include:
1. Initiating, leading and co-ordinating work within the Planning and Service Team and where necessary across the Mill and Sales organisation.
2. Delivering Customer requirements On Time and In Full.
3. Planning and Service team development and competence.
4. Maximising Mill Quality efficiency through effective planning.
5. Providing prompt and accurate response to enquiries from Sales Team.
6. Stock level maintenance.
7. Managing volumes and throughput in despatch to ensure a smooth operation.
8. Monthly operation reviews of transport providers.
9. Monitoring or pallet supplier efficiency.
10. Service development project portfolio.
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
11. Excellent problem-solving skills
12. Flexible and service minded attitude
13. Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels of the organisation
14. Educated to Degree level (BSc/BA), highly numerate and strong computer skills
15. Experience in managing personnel
16. Appropriate training in both the working environment and Health and Safety
17. Basic knowledge of the Pulp and Paper process and Mill capabilities
18. Knowledge of Sales & Marketing, Logistics and Purchasing organisations
19. Knowledge of Customer Service requirements
20. Knowledge of the Company’s IT system – in particular Oscar, MiMi, Tips Plan and Hipos

Normal hours of work are 0830-1631 hours, Monday to Friday. This is an on-site role.
