Time Recruitment is acting as an agent for a leading personal injury firm in Greater Manchester, currently seeking a skilled Personal Injury Solicitor to join their expanding Serious Injury team. The Role
The Personal Injury Litigation Executive will be responsible for managing a caseload of intermediate track and mid-value multi-track PI claims (EL/PL/RTA and selected clinical negligence), typically valued between £25,000 and £250,000. This role will involve:
1. Running cases from instruction to settlement or trial
2. Assessing liability and quantum, reviewing medical evidence, and applying current case law
3. Leading expert conferences and drafting pleadings, witness statements, and schedules
4. Securing interim payments and arranging rehabilitation
5. Negotiating with insurers and defendant firms to protect client interests
6. Using Proclaim effectively and mentoring junior staff
7. Collaborating with Marketing on case stories and thought leadership
8. Staying up to date with CPR changes, costs reforms, and medico-legal developments
Requirements
9. Strong claimant-side experience in intermediate and multi-track PI litigation
10. Proven billing performance with exceptional client care
11. Excellent communication skills and empathy to match the firm's 4.9★ reputation
12. Commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset
13. Flexibility to attend Eccles HQ for key meetings and team days
