Offer description

Quarrybank Boutique Bathrooms is an award-winning, design-led bathroom showroom in the heart of Wilmslow. We are known for creating beautiful, bespoke bathrooms with exceptional care, creativity and attention to detail. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on delivering a five-star experience from initial design through to final installation.

Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee our bathroom installations and ensure every project runs smoothly, professionally and to the highest possible standard.

The Role

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of bathroom installation projects, acting as the key link between the showroom, installation team and customer. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires strong technical understanding of bathroom fitting, excellent organisation, and the ability to deliver a polished and reassuring customer experience throughout the installation journey.

This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for high standards, seamless delivery and outstanding aftercare.

The Project Manager will report directly to the Director.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight

* Manage bathroom installation projects from pre-start stage through to final completion.
* Ensure all works are carried out in line with agreed designs, plans, specifications and company standards.
* Coordinate installation schedules, monitor timelines and keep projects moving efficiently.
* Anticipate project needs in advance to minimise delays and ensure smooth delivery.

Team Coordination

* Act as the main liaison between the showroom team, fitters, subcontractors, suppliers and customers.
* Support and oversee the installation team to ensure all workmanship is delivered to the required standard.
* Ensure fitters have the correct information, products and instructions before and during each stage of the project.
* Monitor site progress and maintain accountability across all parties involved.

Customer Experience

* Deliver a high level of customer care, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the installation process.
* Keep customers informed with clear, timely and professional communication.
* Manage customer expectations with honesty, confidence and care.
* Resolve any concerns or questions promptly, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused approach.

Problem Solving & Issue Resolution

* Identify and resolve issues that arise during installations, including site challenges, product shortages, damages, delays or design queries.
* Manage snagging, remedial items, returns and replacements effectively to protect project timelines and customer satisfaction.
* Make confident decisions on site whilst keeping management informed where appropriate.
* Proactively find solutions rather than waiting for problems to escalate.

Quality Assurance

* Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship, monitor progress and ensure installations meet company expectations.
* Ensure all completed bathrooms reflect the high-end finish and detail expected from Quarrybank Boutique Bathrooms.
* Check that installations are completed safely, correctly and in line with agreed specifications.
* Support final handover and completion processes, ensuring a polished finish for every client.

Health & Safety

* Ensure installations are carried out in line with all relevant health and safety standards as laid down by the HSE.
* Promote safe working practices across all active sites.
* Report any concerns, risks or breaches promptly and ensure appropriate action is taken.

Business Development & Partnerships

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with local interior designers, architects, contractors and other relevant industry contacts.
* Act as an ambassador for Quarrybank Boutique Bathrooms in the local market, helping to strengthen brand presence and generate new project opportunities.
* Identify opportunities to bring new business into the company through networking, relationship building and professional referrals.
* Work closely with the Director and showroom team to support the growth of strategic partnerships that align with the company’s values and service standards.

Administration & Systems

* Keep project records, updates and site notes accurate and up to date.
* Use CRM systems and digital tools to track project progress, report issues and maintain visibility across all active jobs.
* Assist with scheduling, coordination of deliveries and communication around installation milestones.
* Work closely with the showroom team to ensure a joined-up approach across sales, design and delivery.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
* Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently
* Confident managing customer expectations with honesty, care and clarity
